I went up to a chipmunk burrow. I started to dig deep. Will I get rabies? There could be saliva there, but I don't remember if I had cuts but I did wash my hands. Also there was an eagle eating a racoon and I parked my car on the side of the road. I went up to the racoon and the eagle flew a away. I took a picture of the racoon but did not make any contact. Could saliva that entered through my shoes give me rabies?

You could have microscopic cuts and there could have been microscopic saliva or bodily fluid traces. The raccoon would be a no, and the chipmunk burrow is also probably a no. But I'd be more careful, what if it had bitten you? The shots must be where the wound was, and rabies is a VERY dangerous and deadly disease. It is NOT a fun way to die.

Rabies is a very fragile virus and dies quickly when exposed to air. You would not catch rabies in theses cases.

Seriously, why are you stoppijg your car to get out and take a picture of a dead half eaten raccoon?

You can't get rabies through your shoes but please, quit puttiing yourself in situations like that. Alos, please quit taking pictures of dead animals.
