When the proliferation of swine flu was at it peak, news papers used to show the latest number of people who died of it.They also showed about the precautions taken by airports, hospitals, educational institutions & ministry of health.I thought that the world was finished.Suddenly every thing died down.It seems that the news papers now treat swine flu as if such an incident has not occured. We are curious to know about the current status of swine flu.Where did the virus go.Was the steps taken by govt authorities efficient in checking the malady.

Swine flu is into a remission stage. Expect a second outbreak in the spring. More H1N1 shots will be administered.

" This is rather astonishing to realize, because for this to have been a natural combination of viral fragments, it means an infected bird from North America would have had to infect pigs in Europe, then be re-infected by those same pigs with an unlikely cross-species mutation that allowed the bird to carry it again, then that bird would have had to fly to Asia and infected pigs there, and those Asian pigs then mutated the virus once again (while preserving the European swine and bird flu elements) to become human transmittable, and then a human would have had to catch that virus from the Asian pigs -- in Mexico! -- and spread it to others. (This isn't the only explanation of how it could have happened, but it is one scenario that gives you an idea of the complexity of such a thing happening). "

Watch it. Come summers and see the spread. I have the cure. I have already emailed to some big newspapers and medical/ health institutions. They seems to be waking up bit too late. Find the swine flu death data on internet for various places. Divide the places into cold weather places (cold all 12 months), 2 weather places (like deserts hot summers and cold winters), humid areas.and hot areas.

Study the deaths area wise. Deaths are more in humid areas followed by 2 weather areas. Deaths in cold areas are negligible.

During the onset of summers and winters the flu deaths are more. When the cold reaches at max the deaths decline.

The reason is the water that our bodies retain in various weather conditions. Excess water retention is the main cause of flu to survive. I have done some limited tests to confirm that cold, cough and sinus can be managed by giving up water and other liquid intake for about 24 hours. During this period only very solid food can be taken.

With the onset of winters we should give some time to our bodies to manage the water level. We should simply go without water when winter is setting in. This will result in suitably adjusted water levels in the body. Once it is done, it will not be required again for that winters.

Similarly with the onset of summers, we should not suddenly increase the water or liquid intake. This should be gradually increased. The total water intake should be divided in smal does every 5 hours. Water intake should not increase beyond 300 to 500 ml at a time or say in a block of 5 hours.

In cold places there is no flu. We do not need to adjust the body water. In humid places the water retention is more pronounced.

People over 80 were the LEAST likely to get it.

Fortunately, the spread hasn't been as bad as expected. There is some concern that another wave might hit in the late winter.

because its just the flu. they made a big hype about the name and in reality it sucks but unless you are 80+ or less than 1 its really not that dangerous
